Research

Current Projects:
1. Preventing acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in patients undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) for non-malignant diseases

2. A comprehensive multi-omic screen to discover new biology and new biomarkers of cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurotoxicity (ICANS) in CAR-T cell therapy patients

3. Long-Term Follow Up (LTFU) after HCT using multi-modal data collection: This protocol follows patients longitudinally after HCT to characterize health, recovery, and quality of life over time. By combining biospecimen collection, electronic health record data, surveys, interviews, and wearable sensor data, we aim to identify patterns that may improve post-transplant monitoring, supportive care, and long-term outcomes

4. Digital Technologies and Wearable Sensors: We have several ongoing projects in several populations (cancer, non-cancer, healthy volunteers, and college students) that leverage digital technologies and wearable sensors
